Rev. Dr. Larry Cross was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His family moved to Los Angeles, California, where he was educated in the Los Angeles School System. In 1986, he relocated to Hammond, Louisiana. There, he met and married the former Eartha Cyprian. They are the parents of a daughter and twin sons. They are the grandparents of five. Pastor Cross was called into the Ministry in 1991. Seeing the need for study, he entered Union Baptist College and Theological Seminary. He received his Bachelor of Theology and his Masters of Theology. He enrolled in Andersonville Baptist Seminary and earned a Doctorate of Theology. Pastor Cross was licensed and ordained at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He later pastored that church for 14 years. While there, he brought the church to higher levels in spiritual growth and in community outreach. He led in the purchasing of land, the building of an apartment duplex, the purchasing of a 25-passenger motorcoach, and in community programs. God has led Pastor Cross to another work in the founding of Berean Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Cross is a dynamic man of God who has a love for his Christ and his fellow-man. His teaching is based on "Jesus First".
